Join the Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign with NACE Food Shelf!

NACE Food Shelf is proud to be a part of the statewide Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign, a grassroots effort dedicated to fighting hunger state-wide.
From March 1st to April 6th, help NACE stock our shelves with non-perishable food items and gently used clothing items. Your help means community members can access nutritious food and clothing year-round!
-
Donate Food & Clothing: Your non-perishable food donations and gently used clothing directly support our mission to fight hunger. Drop off your items at NACE!
-
Give a Monetary Donation: Financial contributions enable us to purchase essential food items and supplies. No donation is too small – every dollar helps keep our community fed. Donate today!
-
Spread the Word: Help us raise awareness! Share our campaign on social media, with friends and family, or within your community. You are the key to making this campaign a success!
Drop-Off Sites
Become a Food Drop-Off Site for March Foodshare Month!

Are you part of a business, church or community organization interested in becoming a drop-off point for food donations? We’re eager to collaborate and expand our network of support.
Thank you for helping end hunger in Anoka County and beyond!
Becoming a food drop-off site is easy!
Here’s how it works:

1. Set Up a Collection Bin
-
Place a sturdy box or bin in a visible, accessible location at your site.
-
Print off our poster and label the bin as a Food Donation Drop-Off for March Foodshare Month.
2. Spread the Word
-
Let your staff, members, customers, or visitors know they can drop off food donations. If you’re part of a church, mention March Foodshare Month during services.
-
Use posters, emails, newsletters, or social media to encourage participation. (We can provide sample wording if needed!)
3. Monitor the Donations
-
Occasionally check the bin to ensure donations are appropriate (non-perishable, unexpired items). Keep the area tidy and accessible.
4. Arrange for Drop-Off
-
Once your bin is full (or at the end of the campaign), drop off donations at NACE during our collection hours.
5. Optional: Track & Share Your Impact
-
If you’d like, keep a rough count of the number of items donated and share updates with your community to encourage more giving!
We’ll list your location as an official March Foodshare Drop-Off Site so community members know where to donate.
